New Patients
If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful practice member relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!
The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.
On your initial visit, expect to feel a warm welcome to our Yateley practice, followed by sitting down and filling out a couple of forms to let us know a bit about your complaints.
Complete Consultation & Examination
After that you will sit down with one of the chiropractors and have a thorough consultation. The consultation is aimed at finding out whether chiropractic care may be suitable for you. If it is, and with your consent, you would then have an examination, quite often followed by chiropractic care.
Can We Help You?
If the chiropractor feels your complaint may be better suited for another health professional, they will point you in the right direction of who may be better suited to help you. On your first visit allow about an hour of your time.
Report of Findings
On your second visit, you will again sit down with the chiropractor and receive your personalized Report of Findings. This is when your chiropractor will give you his/her suggested care plan. The care plan is aimed at getting you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. Allow yourself approximately half an hour for your second visit.
Your regular visits will not be as long as your first or second visits to 1st Chiropractic Centres.
Reviewing Your Progress
After your second visit, you won’t be needing to allow yourself as much time in the practice. We appreciate that your time is precious and will do our best to be on time and not having you ‘hanging around’. Each visit from here on out will consist of reviewing your progress, followed by the appropriate chiropractic care needed at that visit.
Allow yourself 20-30 minutes for your appointments from here on out. Depending on your Chiropractor and your treatment.
Emma’s treatments are extended sessions and can last around 40 minutes.
